No, as an online-only business, we do not require in-person appointments. We only require your measurements, which you will input using clearly marked drop-down menus when filling out the online order form, and we take care of the rest. We have developed bespoke measuring tools and guidelines, which, when followed correctly, result in a "perfect fit" without the need for any major follow-up adjustments or alterations. Each tailor-made dress is crafted by following our "Measure & Create" process:
1. Once you have selected your preferred dress style, you will need to enter your specific measurements in the provided drop-down menus. Please refer to the image, which can be found on each product page, for an explanation of how to take accurate measurements, or get in touch by emailing hello@mtt.london if you have any questions!
2. You can then include any special requests and comments in the relevant box. They will be taken into account as part of the design and manufacturing process and can be further discussed if necessary once the order has been placed. We try to accommodate most special requests but sometimes it may not be possible due to specific design features and the inherent limitations of a particular dress style.
3. Once done, you can place your order. We will contact you to confirm we have received your order and then, subject to any additional information that we may need to request from you (such as pictures of yourself taken from the front, the side and the back for tailoring purposes to give us a better understanding of any specific features that your dress should have), we will contact you again (normally within 48 hours) to confirm we have accepted it.
As our dresses are made-to-measure, it is not possible to try on dresses before placing an order.
Yes, dependent on the scope of modifications and your specific requirements. We would be happy to discuss your requests and provide our recommendations on a broad range of issues, such as adjustments to measurements, style or the overall look of your selected dress. Although the measurements that you provide to us as part of the ordering process should enable us to create a dress that fits you well, we appreciate that you may have specific post-sale alteration requirements and we would be happy to discuss them with you. Please note that there will be an extra charge for this service, which typically ranges between GBP 200 and 600, depending on the dress and your requirements, in addition to shipping costs. Note also that there may be limitations as to what type of adjustments can be made to a dress after it is complete. Yes, we ship to most countries.
On average, it can take between 3 and 4 months from the order date for the finished dress to arrive at your doorstep. However, we recommend that you place the order at least 6 months before your wedding in case you decide to make any final alterations after the dress has arrived. Please feel free to email us at hello@mtt.london if you need your dress sooner and, where possible, we will try to accommodate your request.
We offer free standard shipping on all orders. Depending on your location, we can also ship your order using priority service, in which case please email us at hello@mtt.london before placing the order to confirm shipping costs and delivery timeframes.
As these fees depend on the specific rules of the importing country, we are unable to advise on whether any fees or duties will have to be paid or their amount. Please note that any such fees or duties will be borne by you as the purchaser.
